Since 2025, I’ve been running Recovery By Action together with Sofia Nord. We offer intensive treatment at a residential facility with structured aftercare and online relapse prevention.
Recovery By Action
We who run Recovery By Action are ourselves in recovery, with lived experience and a long personal journey behind us. It’s this journey that drives our commitment to help others with sugar and carbohydrate addiction find their way back to a life with quality, dignity, and meaning.
We are convinced that on-site treatment at a residential facility is the most effective treatment method, something that research in the field supports. We also have personal experience of this. After intensive on-site treatment, we offer structured aftercare and online relapse prevention for one year, with the possibility of extension. We are based in the Sundsvall area, in the heart of Sweden.
Angelica Jyttner is SUGAR®-certified and currently training to become a sugar addiction specialist (HMA certification) through Bitten Jonsson’s international program. She is a licensed psychologist with many years of professional experience.
Sofia Nord is a trained sugar addiction specialist through Know Addiction Academy and a certified nutrition advisor through Anna Hallén AB. She is a licensed nurse and a certified vocational teacher in health and social care, with many years of professional experience.
